CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

 

Graduates of the Construction Technology Program are awarded the title ‘‘Construction Technologist”, and they can work as technical employees in:

 

Municipalities

Directorate General of Highways

Directorate General for State Hydraulic Works

Special Provincial Administrations

Construction Companies

Institutions or organisations involving the Office of Facilities Management

Construction sites

Concrete and mortar testing laboratories

Ready-mixed concrete companies

Cement factories,

Construction chemicals sales companies, and

Transport and highway construction companies.

They can pursue an academic career after graduation, as well.

 

Graduates of the Construction Technology Program can pursue their undergraduate studies at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of public or foundation universities if they take and pass the Vertical Transfer (Transfer from a Two-Year College to a 4-Year One) Examination (DGS) administered by the Centre for Assessment, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM).
