MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNIQUES

Tests and workups are indispensable in the correct diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Various imaging techniques using ionising and non-ionising radiation such as magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, X-ray, angiography, scintigraphy, positron emission tomography, and bone densitometry provide internal images of the body.

The Program of Medical Imaging Techniques aims to educate prospective qualified technologists who can perform the radiological imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiology specialist for both diagnosis and treatment of diseases, follow and adapt to technical and technological developments, and work with a high level of eye-hand coordination supported by their knowledge in the field they have acquired through their education.
